God has been good to Westerville Alliance Church since the day it was formed in the early 1960s. As we make the transition to become Hope Church, we are taking time to celebrate what God has done in our midst for the 50+ years that we have gathered as a congregation. There is so much in our history to remember and celebrate!
On Sunday, August 9, we will be holding our Celebration Sunday service. During our time together, we will tell stories of God’s faithfulness from the past, remember what he has done in our community, and enjoy a potluck lunch and ice cream social after the service. We will sing original songs that were written by members of this congregation, and also hear short messages from long-time leaders on three core beliefs that have held us together throughout the years: God is Faithful, Jesus is Lord, and The Spirit Gives Life.
If you were a part of Westerville Alliance Church but have been away for a while, this celebration service will be an excellent time to reconnect with old friends. We would love for all those who have previously attended this church to come to this celebration service so that we can praise God together, once again.
