Global Impact Saturday
Ed Mangham, the Ohio Valley District Superintendent of the Christian & Missionary Alliance, came to speak at our Global Impact weekend, which is our annual missions conference. Ed comes from a long line of Alliance international workers, representing the fourth generation of his family to serve God’s kingdom by proclaiming the gospel overseas. Ed and his wife Julie served in the Middle East for two terms, revitalizing the Alliance presence in Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, and Iraq.
In this message from the Saturday night event of Global Impact weekend, Ed shared about God’s heart for lost people, and especially for those who have no access to the life-changing message of the gospel of Jesus Christ. He told powerful stories from his own life, and from the lives of others, about what God is doing in parts of the world we only hear about on the nightly news. God loves each and every person around the world. He knows how many hairs are on each of their heads. He wants all of us to find salvation in Jesus Christ. There is no more worthy cause to give your life than the cause of advancing God’s kingdom by proclaiming the gospel to people who desperately need it.
