When we talk about sharing hope at Hope Church, we’re talking about a lot of things: evangelism, community service, outreach. Another, very practical, way to share hope is to become a part of a ministry team in the church. There is a wide variety of ways in which you can become an active participant in the ministry of the church, and we are always looking to connect people with the ministry in which God is calling them to serve.
Serving on a ministry team is a great way to give back to others, or as we like to think of it: to share the hope of Jesus with the world. Whether you greet people at the front door, play on the music team, or teach the children about Jesus, your service is an act of ministry in which you share hope with people who need it. Sharing hope is a vital task of the Church, and each one of us has the opportunity to share hope in some way.
There are plenty of opportunities to serve at Hope Church.
The Children’s Ministry is looking to add additional classroom teachers and assistants. We are committed to providing the kids of Hope Church with a safe, fun, and encouraging environment during church. We have excellent curriculum that kids love. Training is provided, and all Children’s Ministry team members must complete a background check. Please contact Kate Conley to get connected.
The Tech Team is looking to add at least three people to the team. We would like to add at least two more people to the slides rotation, and at least one more person to the sound board rotation. If you enjoy serving in a behind-the-scenes way and have technical aptitude, we would love to get you connected. We will provide all necessary training. Please contact Pastor Andy to get connected.
If you sense that God may be leading you to serve in an area not listed above, please contact the office so that we can begin to connect you with the appropriate team leaders.
