  • Explain this Saturday prayer thing...

Jesus taught that when we pray, we are praying to Father God who is near and who is holy. Often we are too busy to recognize both of those truths in prayer.

Holy Saturday is significant because it was a day when God appeared silent- Jesus was in the tomb, and the disciples were scattered. But underneath the surface, God was presently at work- God was not done! So we are fasting as a church family and gathering for a special prayer evening to adopt a posture of expectancy and celebration- readying our hearts for the joy of Easter!

This will be an open-house-style, self-directed experience. You can stop by the church from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and visit several prayer “stations.” Each station is a guided prayer exercise to help you decompress from the week and step into prayer with the Father. You’ll find the door open and printed instructions ready as you visit each station.

  • What’s up with breakfast?

Come join us at 9:15 for an Easter Breakfast Potluck. Bring your guests and your favorite breakfast food—bring enough to share. A team will set up tables, serve beverages, and provide plates and utensils. Bring a serving utensil for your favorite breakfast food.
